By now, you will have met our wonderful Welcoming Committee Volunteers who have provided you a token gift bag and some basic information regarding the Homes Association. Volunteer work is an integral part of our Homes Association and serves as the foundation from which our current Board of Directors operates. Your current officers are made up from the following volunteers:

In conjunction with the duties and responsibilities of our officers, Walnut Creek has engaged Home Association Solutions LLC (HAS) to assist in our management of financial, administrative, and operational functions. We view this value-added service as necessary to preserve the Associations financial health and to optimize efficiency, providing our residents the best bang for your hard earned buck! Our dedicated business agent and primary point of contact with HAS is Mr. Doug Luther.  Although our Board collaborates directly with HAS on all issues, we would appreciate you contacting Doug directly at (913) 825-0001 for general Association issues. Also, please keep an eye out for important mailings and correspondence from each organization.

As a new resident, we understand that you will be very busy unpacking boxes and getting settled in, however, it is very important to make sure you are aware of our by-laws and restrictive covenants, and that you are current on your annual dues. Please take a moment to download and review the new resident information packet and review the Association's Restrictive Covenants.  This information provides the basic tenets of our Association, our restrictive covenants, and our procedures for accessing common area pool and amenities.

We respectfully request that you engage HAS and/or the ARC process before you initiate any projects that might alter the color, structure or architectural charm of your new home, as such projects are subject to ARC approvals.

In most cases, your Title Company has probably settled your annual dues as part of the overall closing financial package. However, it is your responsibility to verify that your annual dues have in fact been paid. Upon verification of your current annual dues status, and upon our receipt of the enclosed Common Area Access Agreement, you will be issued a key to access the recreational area.

Our Association is a continuous work in progress and can only be successful with your ongoing participation and support.
